About Me

As a leading analytics project manager...

I build automated analysis tools and design enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions to drive strategy & development of cross-functional teams, improve key performance metrics, and eliminate inconsistencies. My inquisitive and collaborative nature stems from a variety of my personal and professional experiences in data science, data visualization, executive communications, media production, and talent development.

When I cultivate a growth mindset and remain open to possibilities, I find myself developing in better ways than I ever imagined. This led me to earn a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology – building on my undergraduate career in economics and management information systems, as well as strengthening my skills in big data computing and machine learning.

My ability to identify opportunities, assemble buy-in, organize resources for execution, collaborate with developer teams, and build problem-solving tools has contributed to my most recent professional successes. These include analyzing product strategies with multivariate experimentation, sharpening marketing plans with segmentation modeling, enhancing classification algorithms to increase accuracy, transparency in analyzing cost trends, and a business cultural transformation in a department with 900+ employees across the nation.

As a Los Angeles native, I thrive best in diverse and high-demand environments. I enjoy travelling to new cities and binge-watching a great series. I currently reside in Dallas, Texas where I work as a data analyst collaborating with others on statistical analysis and product strategy to help drive revenue growth and increase retention for Disney Streaming Services.

Analytics Portfolio

These are a few of my best projects showcasing my expertise and style. In my experience, I found introducing new analytical solutions work best with easy to interpet visuals. I craft distinct views to organize metrics and hovering tooltips for at-a-glance granular detail.

Houston Neighborhood Quality Dashboard

As part of a Data Visual and Analytics group project, we created a user-friendly, interactive dashboard explaining non-emergency 311 data in the city of Houston. Our novel approach was using Principal Component Analysis on population-weighted data to calculate a neighborhood quality rating. Trial users rated the dashboard 4.5 out of 5.

Financial Power BI Dashboard

A report with a brief overview and trend analysis into sales and profit data provided by Microsoft's Financial Sample Excel Workbook. This dashboard includes bookmarks and advanced tooltip functionality for high-level and detailed summaries of the data. I often use this report and its dataset when introducing/teaching Power BI to beginners.

The Great Gatsby's
Economics of the American Dream

In my undergraduate thesis, I explained household income inequality and its relationship to socioeconomic mobility using the 1925 novel and 2013 film The Great Gatsby. I analyze the Great Gatsby Curve with a historical look through U.S. data from the Census Burueau and the Integrated Public Use Microdata Series.

Volunteer

The NETwork is an organization whose vision is to become a premier leader in providing growth opportunities through sustainable programs that build future generational leaders within the industry and community. With a 50-year heritage, the NETwork is AT&T’s oldest employee resource group.

During my time at AT&T, I served as the National Mentoring Program Director from July 2020 – December 2022. Working closely with the Talent Development Officer, our goal focused on transforming the development experience of NETwork members through targeted mentoring from leaders across the business – enriching both their professional and personal lives.

We organized and launched a new mentoring program from the ground up that formally began in January 2021. This program includes a full year of mentoring where employees are matched with leaders for a mentorship experience centered around adaptability, mentoring/sponsorship/advocacy, building relationships, and continuous learning. Our mentors ranged from high performing individual contributors to Senior Vice President and Executive-Level Officer roles throughout all business units in the company.

In our inaugural year, we had about 100 mentors providing guidance and advice to over 400 mentees; this includes 60+ mentoring circles and 30+ one-on-one mentorships. There is true value in having leaders passionate about the development and growth of others. I look forward to pioneering similar programs in the future.
